THE ART OF THE BESPOKE AQUARIUM: HONG KONG AQUARIUM BASED ON THE CHAO PHRAYA RIVER
Roland Horne and Jeremy Clark are co-directors and founders of Aquarium Architecture, a British company with offices in London and New York, established in 2006.
Their team of twelve experts, including three field engineers, one structural engineer and an aquascaper, have designed aquariums for a galaxy of famous names – including commissions from Norman Foster, Richard Rogers, Facebook, Estee Lauder. They have been installed around the world: Africa, China, Australia, throughout Europe and America.
With a design based on the Chao Phraya River, this 500 litre aquarium in Hong Kong, is an aquascaped planted aquarium with a combination of unique wood, rock and Asian plants.
